Each Collision-Happy Course is designed and sequenced to inspire, guide, and equip students with the skills, aptitudes and mindsets they need for a world that is increasingly more interdisciplinary, collaborative, and entrepreneurial. Deeply influenced by my Rewilding Pedagogy, which flattens the hierarchical relationship between the student and teacher, each course is complemented with out-of-the-classroom experiences, one-on-one coaching and mentoring from our ever-expanding network of alumni who are social entrepreneurs, activists, and socially-minded professionals.
DESIGNING THE LIFE OF A CHANGEMAKER
It’s been estimated that college graduates have 80,000 working hours in their career. If they desire to build a better world for themselves and future generations, their choice of career is one of their best opportunities to do so. This is my changemaker incubator, which helps students imagine their future selves as investigative journalists, B-corp founders, grassroots movement mobilizers and more.

SOCIAL GOOD LAB
Structured around the “Design Sprint” framework as pioneered by Google Ventures, multidisciplinary student teams research, design and build a prototype solution to a client’s specific problem in the social good space. The lab culminates in student teams testing and receiving live feedback from customers before delivering a final product to their clients.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Juniors and Seniors
Just three courses cannot equip my students with every skill and aptitude they needs. However, my students know what they need (see Curriculum). And, since Rewilding encourages them to take the initiative, they’ll go out and get what they need without asking.
